Blog sites…

July 25th, 2006

Ok, so I guess what I don’t like about the vox thing is that it’s so ugly, to be honest. haha, it’s really not very well designed (but then again, neither is myspace and look at how popular that piece of crap is).

Well, as far as blog sites that Christians use, the one that I think is cool but also encouraging spiritually is the site from Battle Cry. (battlecry.com or mybattleplan.com, they all go to the same place) But the reason I like it, as a Christian, is that on the side, you put up things that you are working on in your spiritual walk and for reaching this generation with the message of Christ.

Why is that important? Because by publicly declaring what you’re working on in your walk, and then literally tracking your progress for others to see helps keep us on track and accountable and is a constant reminder of what we “say” we’re working on, and if we’re not keeping up with that, then it’s there for all your friends (”trenchmates”) to see so they can call you on it.

And then there’s the blog part of it, which is like a normal blog, but I just feel like more people should start using it, especially as we try to build momentum with the youth for the next BattleCry event next year and see more and more kids’ (and their leaders’) lives transformed into people ready to win back this generation for the Lord.

so there’s my plug, check out my blog:
